The search for a 19-year-old Vancouver woman missing since late Sunday afternoon in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest was suspended Tuesday evening.  Skamania County Sheriff Dave Brown says deputies will continue to check in the Canyon Creek area of western Skamania County over the next couple of days for any sign of 19-year-old Maureen Kelly.  Kelly was reported missing late Sunday night after going on what was termed a “spiritual quest,” and not returning to her campsite.  She was reported to be naked and had little as far as supplies and equipment with her.  Undersheriff Dave Cox says they are again asking anyone from the public that may have been in the area of Canyon Creek and the FS 54 road from early Sunday afternoon to early Monday morning to contact the Sheriff’s office at 509-427-9490 if they may have seen Kelly.
